The Marmot Widi is a roomy 3-person tunnel tent and a superior choice for cold, wet environments. Pitch the fly first and then hang the tent body from the inside of it and the tent will remain dry. DAC Featherlite(R) NSL hoop-style poles run through sleeves on the exterior of the rainfly; tent attaches to interior of rainfly via webbing loops and toggles. Storm Pitch design allows the Widi fly to be staked out with just the fly, poles and stakes; leave the interior tent behind to save weight. Storm Pitch (includes fly, poles and stakes) weight is 6 lbs. 2 oz.; rainly is highly durable and waterproof. Large front vestibule offers both front and side access; vestibule is large enough to store a bike inside of it. Side vestibule entrance has a mesh door with weather-sealing, zip-up panel; mesh door and 2 adjustable fly vents provide air circulation to reduce condensation buildup. Six 2-in-1 guy systems use 2 pole attachment points that pull to a single stakeout point for increased stability during storms; you get increased strength with half the work. Interior tent features a large mesh door and a waterproof bathtub floor; reach around the interior tent to access a small rear storage area created by the rear fly. Optional footprint (sold separately) is available for the interior tent; footprint can be used as a partial floor with the Storm Pitch setup. Extras include stuff sacks, stakes and guyline/tighteners. Burrito-style stuff sack is easy to pack and organize; then simply roll it up and secure with webbing straps/quick-release buckles.
